The Gavilan Niners held their October Ace Day on Oct. 30 at the
Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy.
GILROY – The Gavilan Niners held their October Ace Day on Oct. 30 at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy. Ace for the month was Peggy Woolf, of Morgan Hill, with a net 30 which also was good for first place in the first flight.
Second in the first flight was Barb Hagan, of San Martin, net 34. First in the second flight was Teri Swan, of Morgan Hill, net 33. Second was Arlene Cardoza, of Watsonville, net 33. Third was Sylvia McGee, of Morgan Hill, net 34, and fourth was Joan Webenbauer, of Morgan Hill, net 34.
Phyllis Dollar, of Morgan Hill, had a chip-in and a birdie. Arlene Cardoza, of Watsonville, had a birdie and tied with Peggy Woolf, of Morgan Hill, for low putts with 15.
