– The Gilroy High School Choirs presents their annual Fall
Concert Oct. 27 and Oct. 28. This is the choirs inaugural event for
the 2004/2005 school year.
The program will feature the five choirs from Gilroy High
School, which involve 160 students and are under the direction of
Phillip Robb.

The program will feature the five choirs from Gilroy High School, which involve 160 students and are under the direction of Phillip Robb.

The concert will be held at St. Mary Church on the corner of Monterey and First street in Gilroy. Doors will open at 7pm, and the concert will begin at 7:30pm.

There is a $3 donation at the door is asked for to help cover the costs for all of the choirs festival activities later in the year.

Both evenings will feature the Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Concerto Delle Donne, and the Chamber Singers.

Thursday evening will be the first ever performance of the combined Middle School Choirs.

This is the first year for a choir program at South Valley Middle School and Solorsano Middle School.

The two choirs will join together with Brownell Middle School choir to create a 100 voice chorus of 6, 7 and 8th graders.

The Chamber Singers also will perform Oct. 29 in San Francisco with the two-time Grammy Award ensemble “Chanticleer,” at the First Unitarian Church, 1187 Franklin St., San Francisco.

The concert begins at 7:30pm.
