Dozens of classic cars intertwined with the trees and flowers while classic rock tunes filled the air during Show & Shine at Gilroy Gardens on May 11.

The event served as a preview to the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce’s Garlic City Car Show, scheduled for June 17 in downtown Gilroy.

While Gilroy Gardens’ rides were not operating, attendees had a chance to check out its current Fantastical Flowers displays and browse local nonprofits that were stationed throughout the park, purchase food and listen to a performance by the JukeBox Boyz.

The 23rd annual Garlic City Car Show is set for June 17 from 10am to 4pm in downtown Gilroy, featuring more than 200 vehicles along with food, beer and wine, live music, awards and more.

Registration for this year’s show is sold out. For information, or to be added to the waitlist, visit gilroy.org/garliccitycarshow.
