Between now and March 1, the Gilroy Library at 7625 Monterey St. is accepting entries of “lost & found” photos, which will go on exhibition during April at the library in celebration of National Library Week.
According to the library, the idea for this exhibit grew out of the book “Year of the Fog.”
In the book, the main character brings new meaning to the term “lost and found.”
Participants are encouraged to venture into their own community or back yard and search for something of value that may have otherwise been overlooked, then take a photograph of that person, place or idea that has been rediscovered. Participants must write a caption consisting of no more than 250 words explaining what the photograph means to them.
