Paul M. Tyler, "Pablo", died unexpectedly in Hollister at the age of 68. He was born in Nevada and resided in Sacramento and also on and off in Hollister for the past 10 years. Paul was a retired financial advisor. He is survived by his wife, Deanna Tyler of Sacramento, his sons, Scott Tyler of Rocklin and Chad Tyler of Carmichael, grandchildren, Zackary and Nichole Tyler of Rocklin, Paul Zenone, Ashlyn and Megan Tyler all of Carmichael.
Eugene Demele, 87, a 56 year resident of Gilroy, passed away on August 5th, 2009, in Riverside, CA after a brief illness. He was a proud Navy veteran of WWII and a retired electrician. Until relocating to Southern California in 2004, he was an active member of the VFW and American Legion. He was also active with Gilroy's Senior Citizen Center and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lucille Demele and his children, Fred Demele of Gardnerville, NV and Alice Reed of Pinon Hills, CA. He is also survived by grandchildren Paul Demele of San Marcos, CA, Janis Colter of Fallbrook, CA, Stephanie Monroe of Grand Junction, CO and Gena Baker of Parachute, CO and great-grandchildren Sharina, Justin, Nicholas, Haileigh and Allison.
Anna Loucile Skaggs passed away Saturday at the age of 92 at Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Texas and lived in Hollister for the past 15 years. She formerly was a purchasing agent for the U.S. Government for 26 years. Survived by her sons, Lloyd Skaggs of Hunnington Beach, Robert Skaggs of Washington, Henry Skaggs of Texas and Shawn Skaggs of Hollister. She was predeceased by a son, Carl Skaggs.
Edward J. "Eddie" Falconi passed away in Hollister at the age of 77. He was born in Hollister and lived here all of his life. He attended Union Elementary School, San Benito High School, San Benito Jr. College and San Jose State University where he received a Bachelor's Degree. He was a member of E. Clampus Vitas, Hollister Exchange Club, Hollister Elks Lodge and Sacred Heart Church. He worked for Cornell Equipment Company, Triolo Equipment Company and for many years worked at Enterprise Electric Company in Hollister where he retired from in 2005. Eddie enjoyed cooking and traveling and took many trips to Italy.
