Gilroy High football took a team of 25 skill players and 10
linemen to San Jose State University Saturday for a 7-on-7 passing
tournament. The Mustangs won the event for the second straight
season by going undefeated in six games.
SAN JOSE – Gilroy High football took a team of 25 skill players and 10 linemen to San Jose State University Saturday for a 7-on-7 passing tournament. The Mustangs won the event for the second straight season by going undefeated in six games. Head coach Greg Garcia said some of the top performers for Gilroy included: quarterback Nick Marra, who led the team to the tourney championship last season, Bryan Sanchez, Michael Aldridge, Tommy Silva, and Julius and Romeo Travis.
