Gloria Kent Zuniga passed on to larger life on December 1,211, surrounded by her family.
Gloria, a life-long resident of San Benito County, attended Santa Ana School and San Benito High School. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in education and taught elementary school for the Hollister School District for many years. Gloria was an active member of Hollister United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends particularly at her cabin in Calaveras County.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Ruben Zuniga, her parents Vic and Hazel Edmundson, and her sister Arden. She is survived by her children Steven, (Tami), Margaret, (Dan), Gilbert, Vincent, (Amy), and Mary Ann and her grandchildren Zachary, Tyler, Samantha, Gianna, Benjamin, Jacob, and Lucas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Candlelight Celebration—Tuesday December 6, 2011, at 7:00 P.M., Hollister United Methodist.
Celebration of her Life—Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 11:00 A.M0., Hollister United Methodist, followed by interment at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hollister United Methodist Church. All contributions will benefit the local community.
