Christopher High’s Peter Hilkene earned medalist honors, carding the lowest score of the day in leading the Cougars golf team to runner-up at the second Tri-County Athletic League Valley Division meet of the season Tuesday at Eagle Ridge in Gilroy.
Alvarez topped the six-team field with a 244 total. The Cougars were close behind with a 248. North Salinas (251) finished third followed by Alisal (281), Gilroy (300) and North County (306.)
Gilroy High’s Alex Siao posted the second-lowest score with a 40.
