GILROY – Guy’s Heating rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to upset Krazy Koyotes-Dutchman’s Pizza 13-12 in Men’s CC League play Monday at Las Animas Park.

Marco Delgado hit a two-run single and scored on a Rodney Clore hit in the sixth inning to give Guy’s a 7-6 lead. Koyotes-Dutchman responded with six runs in the top of the seventh, highlighted by a two-run single from Anthony Morales. Guy’s used eight singles in the seventh to notch the victory, capped by Jay Trujillo’s two-run double.

John Muro and Joe Laredo each went 4-for-4 and Scott Schipper went 3-for-4 and scored three runs for Guy’s Heating. Anthony Morales homered and Miguel Rivera and Marty Bueno each went 3-for-4 for the losers.

VFW Vets topped Las Animas Sweepers 17-2 to leave both teams at 2-1 atop the league. Toby Reyes hit a three-run home run in a six-run first for the Vets. Chris Hernandez went 4-for-4 and Mark Sotelo homered for the winners. Donnie Gooding homered for the Sweepers.

The Desperados scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning to trim Countryside Preschool 13-12 in Men’s CCC play at Christmas Hill Park.

The Desperados trailed 12-11 with two out in the seventh when Gerald Buchman singled and scored on a Lorenzo Nino homer to right. Dean Filice went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs for the 2-1 Desperados. Albert Alosi hit a single, double and triple for Countryside.

AJ’s Boys joined the Desperados in first place by defeating Los Gatos Capital 17-13. MMike Sandoval, Brad Burrows and Charlie Muro hit AJ’s homers. Chris Adame and Johnny Perez each managed four Boys hits. Stu Kirchick went 3-for-3 with a homer, driving in five runs for Los Gatos Capital.

No Soup 4 You is 2-0 atop the seven-team Men’s DDD League after a 39-2 decision over the Plunderers Monday at Gavilan Sports Park.

Reynaldo Lara homered twice and Kevin Gitmed, Eddie Yanez, Jay Jones, Fausto Padilla and Kurt Gitmed hit one homer apiece for the Soup. Carlos Cano singled and scored for the Plunderers.

Frank Crue went 4-for-4 and Ed Cordia delivered a homer and triple as the Chippendales outlasted Dan Keith Septics 22-1. Whitney McDougall singled and scored for Dan Keith Septics.
