The Christopher High boys basketball team had a rough draw to open the 31st annual Bob Hagen Memorial Tournament.
A sharp-shooting Harbor club led by leading scorer Colin Gruber sent CHS to an 81-45 loss Thursday night.
The Cougars experienced a dry spell in the first quarter and were unable to convert a shot from the field as Harbor built a 17-2 lead. CHS clawed back and stayed within 18 of the lead midway through the second quarter but the cushion inflated to 25 points by halftime.
Wyatt Rocheleau led the way with seven points for the Cougars and Ryan Fredricks registered six points. DJ Campos posted six points and so did Luke Laguna.
Gruber exploded for a game-high 39 points for Harbor.
