Henk Marselis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 26, after
a brief illness.
Henk Marselis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 26, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Hans and Thys of Morgan Hill, brother Jan and sisters Annie and Jeanne of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and many loving friends.
Henk loved life, family and community. He was an active participant in many organizations, most recently the YMCA, Leadership Morgan Hill, Toastmasters and the vestry of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church. He was a dedicated employee of IBM for 47 years where he worked in Financial Management after he completed his education, which was supplied by IBM.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. John the Divine Church, 17740 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill. A reception will follow the ceremony.
The family has asked that donations be made to the St. John’s Building Fund.
