Just a quick note of thanks for Sports Editor Damon Poeter’s fair perspective of Little League baseball in a recent column.
It is indeed unfortunate that the very few who abuse our program for whatever reason seem to be th public stereotype for all of Little League.
We know that isn’t the case. Our program can never be perfect, but it has had a far more positive impact on millions of young lives than we will ever know.
Thanks again for a message that more in your industry should espouse.
