Art exhibit at city hall
Artwork by 6-year-old South Bay artist Thanmay Sarath will be on display at Gilroy City Hall, 7351 Rosanna St., through Aug. 28. This is the fifth solo exhibition of Thanmay’s young career, which started when he was 9 months old.
Dine out Italian style

Try out for ‘Honk!’
Auditions for the Gilroy Recreation Department’s 2015 fall children’s theater production of “Honk!” will be at 11 a.m. for ages 6-11 and 1 p.m. for ages 12-17 on Aug. 8 at Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna Street.
