Isidoro S. Rado died in San Jose on Nov. 1, 2003.
He was born in Opuzen, Croatia, 89 years ago. He moved to the United States in 1971 to Cleveland, Ohio, where he lived for 17 years before moving to San Jose in 1987.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margarita J. Rado of San Jose. He is also survived by his five daughters and their spouses, Sonia Rado and husband, Sergio Navarro, of Newark; Diana and Jerry Seelie, of Gilroy; Dora and Mervyn Salt, of San Jose; Iris Rado and husband, Dwight E. Van Damme, of Castro Valley; and Ursula Rado and her husband, Kevin Corcoran, of Gilroy. He is the grandfather of Erica and Michael Seelie, of Gilroy; Travis and Justin Salt, of San Jose; and Corina, Kelsi and Deric Van Damme, of Castro Valley. He is also survived by his sister Radoika Krljan, of Zagreb, Croatia; three sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and his buddy, Roco, his parrot.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
