A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., at the Richfield East Stake Center, 800 N 500 E, Richfield, UT.
 James was born in Gilroy to James Vincent Tarantino and Beatrice Pauline Bowen. He graduated from Gilroy High School in 1954, attended Hartnell College, and served two years in the U.S. Navy. He sang for several years in the San Francisco Opera and had a great love of the Arts.
 James is survived by former wife Anna Springer, children Anja (James) Lowe and Tristram Tarantino of Utah, sisters Marjeanne Amanze and Joann (Robert) Bolei of Nevada, brother Kevin Bowen of Florida, and five grandchildren.
