He was the son of Lucinda Cooner and H. Edward Cooner; brother of Joy Giordano; brother-in-law of Brian Giordano; brother of Amy Cooner; and brother of Darren Cooner. His best girlfriend was Stefanie Wong.

Services were held at Cambrian Park Church at 1 p.m. Saturday. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Oak Hills Funeral Home, San Jose.
