GILROY – Shake N Bake shook off a seven-point first-half deficit to rally past South Valley Disposal 58-31 in Men’s D Basketball League play Monday at Solorsano Gymnasium.

Vince Bautista scored five of his six three-point field goals in the second half as Shake N Bake (2-1) erased a 24-20 halftime deficit. Bautista took game scoring honors with 25 points. Eric Tollison worked inside for 11 Bake points. Mitch Mezzetti dropped in 10 markers for the 2-1 winners. Donnie Gooding scored eight points for South Valley Disposal (1-2).

Jiffy Lube moved to 3-0 for the half and 9-0 for the season with an 81-55 victory over Intero.

Nick Tuttle sliced to 21 points and Ron Colman Jr. produced 19 points from his point-guard spot for Jiffy Lube. JT Tipton scored 15 of his 17 Lube points in the first half. Sonny Old Elk’s four 3-pointers in the second 20 minutes left the forward with 14 points. Kevin Steele poured in 16 points, Jonathan Mixter 10 for Intero.

Hard Ninety trailed 10-2 early before racing to a 58-46 win over Gamers In Control.

The Gamers led for all but the final one second of the first half, Mark Cisneros making a field goal in the closing second as Hard Ninety grabbed a 28-27 intermission edge.

Rick Hattaway and Robert Mercado each drained two field goals on the way to 12-point showings for 3-0 Hard Ninety. Frank Tomasetti followed with 10 Hard Ninety points.

Anthony Werner hit three 3-pointers while pacing Gamers In Control with 15 points. James Osaki helped the Gamers with 11 points.

Morgan Hill Garage Door claimed sole possession of first place in the Men’s DD League Wednesday with a 66-42 victory over State Farm.

Alexis Rivas carried the Garage Door (4-0) offense with 26 points. Gene Cotter aided the Garage Door cause with 17 points, Enrique Dolmo 11. Adolfo Mireles struck for 17 points for State Farm. Adam Morales pitched in with 11 markers for State Farm.

The Gilroy Bulls slipped to 3-1 with a 46-35 loss to Crunch Time.

Jason Wolowitz threaded four 3-pointers to pace the Crunch Time offense with 14 points. Kyle Billups scored nine of his 11 points in the second half as Crunch Time rebounded from a 19-16 intermission deficit. Hector Salgado led the Bulls scorers with nine points.

The Warriors reached 2-2 by outlasting Team Techron 57-51.

Mike Vanni earned top scoring honors for the night with 30 points for the Warriors. Jason Ramirez netted 10 Warrior points, Vance Lee nine.

Jordan Cania scored 16 points, Kendrick Azcueta 13 and Mark Taylan 10 for Techron. The Warriors trailed 31-17 at the break.
