2002 after a short illness. She was 78.
June Cadile, a Gilroy native, passed away at her home Oct. 22, 2002 after a short illness. She was 78.
She was the wife of the late Orlando Cadile Sr. She is survived by her children Otelia and husband Tom Russell of Copperopolis, Darlene Harmon of Morgan Hill, Orlando Cadile Jr. of Gilroy, Kabine and wife Ami Mara of Newark. She was the grandmother of Louis, Gina, Todd, Debra, Christopher, Jennifer, Orlando III, Manuel, Mory, Abu and Jack; great grandmother of 14; and sister of Viola Pedersen of Tulare, Eleanor Silacci of Gilroy, Dale Holloway of Yucca Valley and Reginald Holloway of San Jose. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cadile lived her entire life in Gilroy. She retired after 30 years of service to City of Gilroy Public Works Department. She was a member of St. Mary Church and the Catholic Ladies Aide Society.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy.
Donations to the American Cancer Society preferred.
