Torrance Blackman and Sanchez each finished with three hits for Krazy Koyotes, the first-half champion. Cherie Somavia stroked three hits and John DeCarlo Jr. scored three runs for Feather Haven Mill, the defending league champion.
Handmade Healthcare clinched at least a tie for the second-half Men’s CCC title Monday with a 15-13 decision over AJ’s Boys at Las Animas.
Dave Meacham hit a double and two singles to lead the 4-0 Handmade assault. Alan Hazelberg, Chris Adame and Mario Bena each collected two doubles for AJ’s Boys.
Brian Cortez and Wayne Pfeffer each drilled four hits to help 2-2 Las Animas Sweepers past Los Gatos Capital 18-11. Jason Thomas homered and finished with four RBI for the Sweepers. Stu Kirchick went 4-for-4, Mike Mendoza 3-for-4 for Los Gatos Capital.
Rick Trujillo’s RBI-single in the bottom of the eighth inning earned Guy’s Heating and Sheet Metal a 13-12 win over Countryside Preschool in Men’s CC League play at Christmas Hill Park.
Countryside fashioned a four-run seventh to take a 12-11 lead, led by a two-run double by Charlie Roe. Art Tomasetti singled and scored in the Guy’s seventh. Joe Laredo opened the Guy’s eighth with a single, moved to second on an error and scored on Trujillo’s blast.
Tomasetti went 4-for-4 and scored four Heating runs. Roe went 4-for-5.
Dee’s Nuts joined Guy’s at 3-1 atop the four-team league with an 18-3 nod over Krazy Koyotes-Dutchman’s Pizza.
Tony Vega went 4-for-4 and Ricky Gonzales, Cesar Lopez and Rico Lopez each finished with three hits for Dee’s. Don Hufnagel doubled and tripled for the losers.
Obata Farms improved to 3-0 in Men’s BB League action Monday at Gavilan Sports Park with a 28-9 win over Interstate Fence.
Jason Livingston hit three home runs and a triple for Obata, Jason Krulee and Robert Silvia one homer apiece. Josh Torres went 4-for-4 and scored four Farmer runs. Anthony Ortiz and Carlos Garcia roped home runs for the Fence, with Simon Hernandez 3-for-3.
Little Pizzarena is 2-1 after a 22-13 victory over the Playaz. Alvin Ganadan homered and Brian Pacis went 4-for-4 for the winners. Daniel DeLeon, John Castro and Ben Garcia Jr. each managed three hits for the Playaz.
