H. Gray of Hollister died Wednesday, May 7, after a short
illness. He was 73.
Lester “Bud” H. Gray of Hollister died Wednesday, May 7, after a short illness. He was 73.

Born in Canoga Park, he moved to San Benito County 23 years ago. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and belonged to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hollister VFW Post #9242 and SIRS. He was also an avid golfer. He was a truck driver and managed several RV parks.

Gray is survived by his wife Dolores of Hollister; daughter Kathy Bryant and husband Keith of Coldwater, Miss; son Ron and wife Cindy of Lemoore; son Daniel and wife Antionette of Modesto; daughter Sandy Wagner and husband Bryan of Michigan; daughter Teri Webber and husband Bryan of Michigan; and daughter Joanne of Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Cremation will be arranged by Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Crematory with inurnment at the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella. Contributions are preferred to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tres Pinos.
