Dear Editor,

Just today I had the urge for a juicy burger made with time and not just the way everyone else makes it. The only place I know for that was Baha Burger in Gilroy.

I am 16 years old and have been going to Baha Burger since I have been born honestly. I lived in Gilroy for 14 years and grew up with this little restaurant. When I went today and saw it empty, I cried. It was as if they shut down my only place of fun and originality. This was my favorite one-and-only restaurant that actually made you feel like the food was different, and now it’s gone.

My birthday is Oct. 14 and I was going to celebrate it there, but now I no longer will ever have that dream and present that no one else can give. I loved Baha Burger and I wish it didn’t have to go like this. This little wonderful place still had an extra 43 years to go with me. I wish there was one way to get it back, but no matter what gets built there, no matter how old it gets, I will always refer to that little place as one of the best hamburger places In the world The Baha Burger Restaurant.
