Dear Editor,

I was saddened to hear of the closing of Baha Burger. In the early ’60s we would load my children in the family van and we would drive to Gilroy to have a Baha burger. Going to Baha Burger was a very special treat for us.

I remember that the hamburger was almost bigger than my son, and he could barely hold it in his hand. I can still remember the aroma of the big onion rings and the overlapping hamburger patty and that wonderful bun. This hamburger was a meal in itself. Whenever we were out and ordered a hamburger, we always compared it to the Baha Burger.
