The Gilroy Little League Majors softball All-Stars cruised to a District 59 championship, sliding past the Evergreen Little League All-Stars 9-1 in the finals Friday night.
Bryannalee Moreno allowed just one hit in a nine skrikeout complete game performance. Mia Garnica and Moe Janisch had three hits and Amanda Bombino had two. Itzel Jimenez, Haley Berube, Kaitlyn Davis, Jaci Granados, Katelyn Brolin and Moreno had one hit each in a 14-hit contest.
The All-Stars next play in the Northern California tournament, which begins Saturday in Martinez.
