GILROY – San Martin band Juz-Cuz will have a CD release/video clip shoot concert on Sunday, Aug. 15 at the Strand Theater, 7588 Monterey St. The young band plays a mix of genres, from pop to R&B and includes Carlos Santana, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder among their favorite artists.
The group is on PPL records and its CD, “The Return of the Players,” is available on Amazon.com, Borders.com and Target.com.
Band members include Anthony Donato, guitarist; Sam Donato, lead vocals and keyboard; Mark Kraft, bass; Armando Rodriguez, sax; Kirk Berkland, drums; and Deepu Kochuparambil, trumpet.
The group will open for Chick Corea at the National Association of Recording Merchandisers’ convention later this month.
