GILROY – Five of Community Media Access Partnership’s TV programs were named as finalists in this year’s Western Access Video Excellence Awards.
The finalists include:
• “Death ALA Carte” by producer Andre Pagan,
• “The Gavilan Hour” by producer Marilyn Abad,
• “Give Your Walls Some Soul!” in the live to tape non-pro category by producer Shannon Grissom,
• “Give Your Walls Some Soul!” in the instructional non-pro category,
• and “Make Your Own TV,” by producer W. Clay.
The Western Region Video Excellence (WAVE) Awards, created in 1988, recognize and promote the best in local community programming produced in the Western Region of the Alliance for Community Media. Each year more than 50 awards are presented to professional and nonprofessional community video producers from all over the Western region including.
This year the WAVE Awards will be held Nov. 15, at the Executive Tower Hotel in Denver, Colo.
