Hollister Street Festival
The Hollister Downtown Association will present the 19th annual Hollister Street Festival Aug. 13.
The festival, to run from 10am to 6pm in Hollister’s downtown, will feature two stages of live entertainment, a classic car show, kiddie carnival, free sliced watermelon, new car lot, local information, sales and craft booths and more. Makeover Contest
Seagram’s Cooler Escapes is looking for “cooler” women to win Seagram’s makeover contest. The company is looking for nominations of women who have shown acts of kindness, community spiritedness, friendship and heroism.
To nominate a friend, family member or colleague, provide three reasons why that person deserves a Seagram’s Cooler Makeover. Twenty winners nationwide will be selected for free makeovers at salons in their communities.
Winners will be announced Labor Day weekend.
To nominate a woman, visit www.seagramscoolers.com or mail your name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address (if available), the nominee’s name, nominee’s date of birth and three reasons why that person deserves a Seagram’s Coolers Makeover hand-printed on a 3×5-inch card to Seagram’s Coolers Makeover c/o 45 West 45th St., 5th Floor, New York, NY 10036. Winners will be contacted with details on how to claim their prizes. The contest is open to women 21 years old or older.
