Gilroy – The Loco Boys moved to 2-0 in second-half Men’s DD League play Tuesday by topping Trevino Brothers Construction 17-6 at Christmas Hill Park.

Elias Madrid bagged a two-run home run and Alex Pena went 3-for-3 with three RBI to ignite the Loco Boys offense. Nathan Mandrell and Jimmy Castaneda each went 3-for-4 for the winners.

Chase Locsin drilled a grand slam and Jeff Daugherty and Matt Corona each went 2-for-3 for Trevino Brothers Construction.

The Dirty Dozen reached 2-0 with a 9-4 decision over No Soup 4 You.

Michael Garcia and Benny Naranjo each mustered three hits for the Dirty Dozen. Steve Aguirre added a pair of RBI-singles. Kurt Gitmed and Fausto Avila each went 3-for-3 for No Soup 4 You.

Walton & Sons Masonry, the first-half E League champion, moved to 2-0 in DD competition with a 17-11 victory over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.

Chris Lamp delivered four hits and Tim Graves contributed two RBI-singles to Masonry. Alan Hazelberg cracked a single, double and triple for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.

New Hope Community Church used a 10-run fifth inning to complete a 20-5 win over Louie & the Outlaws.

Ryan Mull and Steve Eddy each doubled and singled in the New Hope fifth frame. Matt Elam added a three-run home run, his second of the night. Ted Tencati went 4-for-4 for the winners. Junior Vasquez and Don Rose homered for the Outlaws. Louie Bobadilla added a triple and single.

Williams Dental Lab advanced to 2-0 in Women’s B League play Tuesday at Las Animas Park with a 19-7 victory over Image Design & Day Spa-Guy’s Heating.

Zonaida Norton went 5-for-5 and Margene Peterson went 3-for-6 and scored four Dental runs. Caroline Martinez went 3-for-4 and drove in two Image-Guy’s runs.

Kluck University also moved to 2-0 with a 15-10 nod over Don’s Vending.

Elena Ayala homered and Michaelle Barry went 4-for-4 for Kluck. Cherise Martinez and Liz Talavera each went 4-for-4 for Don’s Vending.
