Joel Vaca’s two-run double capped a five-run second inning as
Dee’z (3-1) grabbed a 7-2 lead. Rico Lopez and Rob Silvia each
collected three hits for the Nutz. Benji Dequin homered and Bobby
Granados tripled and singled for Northbound (1-3).
Noe DeLaTorre and John Carrillo each stroked three hits to lift
Los Gigantes by NorCal Regulators 11-7, leaving both clubs at
2-2.
Chris Soto added a two-run triple for the winners. Rich Perez
homered and Richard Rodriquez managed two doubles, a single and
three RBI for the Regulators.
HD Auto Glass-Hard Ninety (2-2) earned a forfeit win over
Dutchman’s Pizza (2-2).
California Overhead clinched at least a tie for the second-half
Men’s D League title Friday with an 8-5 comeback win over Los
Pistoleros.
Jeff Freeman’ two-run single highlighted a five-run sixth frame
as Overhead erased a 5-3 deficit.

Jason Trujillo mustered two hits and Mario Gallardo scored twice for 4-0 California Overhead. Los Pistoleros is in a three-team tie for second at 2-2. Tito Flores blasted a two-run triple and a sacrifice fly for Los Pistoleros.

Marc Vegas hit a two-run home run and Jason Mesa bagged three hits as Walton & Sons Masonry defeated Humboldt Brewing 13-4. Bruce Hanna delivered two hits and scored two runs for Humboldt.

Steve Aguirre hit a triple, double, single and sacrifice fly to help Gamers In Control by Campbell’s Towing 18-3. A. J. Martinez provided a home run and two singles. Eric Gebhardt added three singles and scored three Gamer runs. Ed Castro and Bryan Merkel each clubbed two Campbell’s hits.

New Hope Community Church powered past Westside Grill 23-3 Thursday in Men’s E League play at Las Animas. The result left Chippendale’s, a forfeit winner over Team Hair FX, as the league pace-setter with a 3-0 mark.

Clark Paulsen hit two home runs, K. C. Adams and Rudy Rodriguez one apiece for 2-2 New Hope. Matt Elam garnered four extra-base hits. Fred Tovar went 2-2 for 2-1 Westside Grill.

Oscar Robles roped a home run, three doubles and a sacrifice fly in a 24-18 Bomb Squad nod over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.

Irineo Torres followed with a homer, double and two singles, plating four Bomb runs. Mitch MacVicar and Allan Hazelberg each went 5-for-5 for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
