Recently, I had another opportunity to realize just how great it is to live in Gilroy!
Two weeks ago, while watching our daughter perform in the Gilroy Garlic Queen Pageant at Gavilan College, we left behind our video camera and tripod. We didn’t even realize it was missing until two weeks later.
We were upset that we had possibly lost the camera and tripod, but even more so because the tapes of our daughter were in it.
We decided to call Gavilan and see if possibly someone had turned it in. Linda at information answered the phone and she was so nice! She offered to call several people on campus and try and track it down. Only a short time went by before she called us back with the good news – Paul Skelton had found it and was holding it safely in his office.
We are so grateful to both Linda and Paul. How wonderful it is to live in a town where people care about each other and help each other out!
