A man was injured in a stabbing incident near a Gilroy apartment complex Tuesday night, according to police.
About 8:30pm Dec. 21, a 40-year-old man was stabbed by a suspect on the 200 block of East Tenth Street, according to Gilroy Police Sgt. John Ballard. Investigators know the suspect who stabbed the victim, but have not arrested the suspect or released their identity.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds, Ballard said. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police are not releasing additional details about the “active and ongoing” investigation, Ballard said.
