Police are looking for two young men who robbed a 28-year-old man at knife point as he was walking across Britton Middle School’s campus.

The victim, a Morgan Hill man, was walking home by himself across the school’s athletic track on the west side of Britton Middle School’s sports fields about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, according to Morgan Hill Sgt. Jerry Neumayer. Two unknown males approached him, with one displaying a large pocket knife with a serrated blade.

The suspect with a knife demanded the victim’s belongings, and both robbers stole his wallet, jacket, baseball hat and shoes, Neumayer said.

Both suspects then told the victim to stay on the ground as they ran away from the scene on foot, according to Neumayer. Several minutes later the victim ran home, which was close to the scene, and called police. Police searched the area and found some of the stolen items.

The victim described the suspect with a knife as a Hispanic male about 16 to 18 years old, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, thinly built with a long braided ponytail and clean-shaven, Neumayer said. He was wearing a white and blue flannel shirt, dark blue jeans and white shoes. The other suspect was described as a Hispanic male about 16 years old, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, thinly built with short black hair and wearing a white sweater, blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with information about the robbery may call Morgan Hill Police at (408) 779-2101 or the anonymous tip line at (408) 947-7867.
