Gilroy – Mike Menacho capped a five-run rally in the bottom of the final inning with a run-scoring single Monday as Aladdin Bail Bonds-Rhino Wiring edged Countryside Daycare Center 23-22 in Men’s CC League play at Gavilan Sports Park.

Steve Aguirre slapped a two-run home run to ignite the Aladdin-Rhino heroics. Neil Bjerke, Johnny Andrade and Ian Hanley each homered as Aladdin-Rhino grabbed sole possession of first place with a 2-0 mark. Mike Leslie, Jesse Nunez and Eric Petersen hit home runs for Countryside (1-1).

Windsor Plumbing is 1-1 after a 10-7 victory in nine innings over Temple Inland. Nathaniel Moor scored the tying run in the top of the seventh for the Plumbers, then drilled an RBI-single in a three-run ninth. David Jackson and Brent Drysdale each mustered four Windsor hits. Art Mancera lined a two-run homer for Temple Inland.

Kevin Orosco turned three home runs and a triple into seven RBI as Las Animas Sweepers outlasted California Silk Screening 19-17. Joe Lovecchio and Jason Thomas added Sweeper homers. Eddie Vargas hit two homers, Jimmy Hernandez and Carlos Naranjo (5-for-5) one apiece for the Screeners.

No Soup 4 You is 2-0 in CCC action after a 16-4 decision over Central Coast Collision Monday at Gavilan Sports Park.

Reynaldo Lara and Kurt Gitmed hit Soup homers. Bobby Granados homered and Rigo Gutierrez went 3-for-3 for Central Coast.

Pro Electric (2-0) used a six-run fourth inning to slip by Dutchman’s Pizza 9-8. Matias Franco and Roy Escudero each went 3-for-3 for the Electricians. Bill Dale plated three runs and Paul Borelli went 2-for-2 with a sacrifice fly for Dutchman’s.

Jesse Rawlins powered a home run and two triples to spark Campbell’s Towing to a 19-15 nod over the Desperados. Brandon Straw went 4-for-4 for the Towers. Steve Garrido went 4-for-4 and Lorenzo Nino homered for the Desperados.

Benny Sanchez and Junior Gutierrez each homered Sunday as 2-0 Chicks N’ Sticks defeated Feather Haven Mill 10-5 in Co-Rec B play at Las Animas Park. John DeCarlo Jr. went 3-for-3 for the 1-1 Millers.

Richard Chavez and Henry Huerta each drilled two home runs to pace California Chop Shop past the Ball Hoggs 29-10. Phil Tercero and Brian Moreno each went 3-for-3 for the Ball Hoggs.

Team Hair FX took over first place at 2-0 in the Co-Rec C League with a 12-3 triumph over the Spirit of Morgan Hill.

Stephenie Johnston went 3-for-3 for the Hair attack, Rhonda Rutledge 2-for-3 for the Spirit.
