A 74-year-old Gilroy man with Alzheimer’s who was reported missing in Lemoore Thursday morning has been found, according to the King’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Narciso Garcia was spotted by a “concerned citizen” while walking in a field near the Lemoore Naval Air Station around 11 a.m., more than 24 hours after he reportedly walked away from family members at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, according to the Sheriff’s office.

The Sheriff’s office said Garcia appeared to be in good health and was reunited with his family.

Around 6:15 a.m. Thursday, family members noticed Garcia had not returned after going to the restroom. Sheriff’s deputies and security staff searched the building and surrounding areas but were unable to locate him. Video surveillance showed a white or beige truck picked up Garcia as he walked away from the casino, according to the Sheriff’s office.

The Sheriff’s office doesn’t suspect foul play at this time, according to a press release.
