MORGAN HILL – The Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark will be the site of an airshow July 10 and 11.

Among the model planes to be flown are World War II fighters, helicopters, racing aircraft, turbine jets and even Snoopy’s dog house, which will go head-to-head with the Red Baron.

The model planes don’t just fly, they also do aerial acrobatics.

Spectators can even try their hands at flying a radio-controlled airplane with the help of an instructor, and kids can build their own planes. Admission to the 16th-annual event is free both days.

The event will take place at 10250 Monterey Road from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. both days.

Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark is a nonprofit model aircraft flying club in Morgan Hill.
