GILROY – The Gavilan Niners held their November Ace Day on November 21 at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy.
Ace for November was Sylvia McGee, Morgan Hill, net 27. Second in the second flight was Joan Webenbauer, Morgan Hill, net 28, third was Bobbi Bentley, Morgan Hill, net 29 and fourth was Birgit Caparusso, net 31. First in the first flight was Barbara Hagan, San Martin, net 33, and second was Peggy Woolf, Morgan Hill, net 34. Low putts of 16 were shared by Jenny Comacho, Gilroy, Teri Swan, Morgan Hill, Sylvia McGee, and Peggy Woolf.
The December Ace was Bobbi Bentley, Morgan Hill, net 34. Second, with a net 36, was a tie between Irene Rodriguez, San Jose, Barbara Hagen, San Martin, Doris Currie, Morgan Hill, and Birgit Caparusso, Gilroy. Low putts of 16 were shared by Phyllis Dollar and Joy Chalmers, both of Morgan Hill. Lorraine Kirmil, Morgan Hill, had a chip in.
