Access will be restricted along a one-mile stretch of Highway 152 near Gilroy for road fixes beginning April 3 and lasting through early May.
Caltrans workers will widen the stretch to make room for a left-turn pocket to Lovers Lane, widening shoulders in both directions and smoothing out sharp turns.
Work is scheduled to take place from 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Friday. Caltrans employees will be restricting traffic to one-way from San Felipe Road to .4 miles west of Lovers Lane.
Motorists should expect delays through the construction zone until all lanes are slated to re-open in early May, according to Caltrans officials.
