– Monterey Bay Bank have made several new appointments,
including three new vice presidents, a new branch manager and a
residential loan counselor.
GILROY – Monterey Bay Bank have made several new appointments, including three new vice presidents, a new branch manager and a residential loan counselor.
James L. Christofferson, Peter C. Tola and Stan Wright have been elected vice presidents while Mary Gordon was named manager of the Felton branch and Blanca Mendoza was promoted to Residential Loan Counselor of the Watsonville branch.
Christofferson, a Gilroy resident, has been hired as vice president and retail banking sales manager. His banking experience includes assistant vice president and branch manager at Wells Fargo Bank in San Jose, vice president and branch manager of Bank of American in Portland, Ore., and branch vice president and financial center manager for Washington Mutual in Palo Alto.
Tola, vice president and relationship manager, brings 23 years of commercial banking experience. The Aptos resident was assistant vice president at First Commercial Bank in Campbell, California Commerce Bank in San Jose and Imperial Bank in San Jose.
Wright, a Santa Clara resident, has been in the banking industry since 1975. Prior to joining Monterey Bay Bank, he spent five years with Heritage bank East bay in Fremont, and was with San Jose National Bank and Cupertino National Bank.
