There’s still room to sign up for the 2nd Annual Gilroy High School Basketball Fundraiser Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, at noon. Twilite Golf Leagues came to an exciting conclusion. In Tuesday night action, the Ace Locksmith team consisting of Al Gamino, Roy Holt, Bruce Woten, Scott Lamoreaux, Mark Ordaz, Tom Reiniccius, Jimmie Velasco and Dave Sebald edged Gilroy Grill, 61 1/2-61. The Chili Dippers placed third at 60 1/2. The Rats, consisting of Dave Perez, Wade Simonsen, Tom Gallardo Sr., Dave Bozzo, Eric Kuwada, Danny Wallis, Kari Williams and Austin Yeager captured the Thursday night title. Their 59 1/2 points outdistanced Machinist Co-Op (57 1/2) and MH Engineering (53 1/2). Tom Gallardo and Barry Brady shared player of the year honors Thursday night. Tom Reiniccius was named player of the year.
