Business briefs: Marshalls opens new Gilroy store
Marshalls opened its new store Thursday at the Pacheco Pass Center, 7201 Camino Arroyo. The 27,984 square-foot building feature a fresh, contemporary design with a bright, easy-to-shop layout and a single line checkout for fast service, according to a press release. Marshalls contributed to the surrounding community by presenting a $5,000 check to St. Joseph Family Center at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Regular store hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. The store will add approximately 60 full and part-time jobs to the area. Crawfish House holds grand opening
Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Christine Giusiana, board members and ambassadors, Mayor Steve Tate and their spouses celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting for The Crawfish House at their location at 16410 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill. Owners Angelica and Steve Pham and their family and friends treated this large group to an evening of delicious food featuring appetizers, main courses (crawfish, chicken wings and kebabs) desserts and beverages. The opening of this restaurant has been a dream of the owners for awhile.
Fortino named Rabobank business banking officer
Phil Fortino has been appointed vice president and business banking officer for Rabobank, N.A. As business banking officer, Fortino is responsible for fostering relationships with small- to medium-sized companies and providing solutions to meet the banking needs of customers in Gilroy, Hollister and the surrounding area. Before joining Rabobank, Fortino served as small business banker for Bank of America and was president and general manager for his own company, Fortino’s Total Home. He attended Gavilan College in Gilroy and Fresno Technical College. He is involved with several organizations in Hollister, including the Rotary Club, Community Foundation, Elk’s Lodge, Chamber of Commerce and the Hollister Downtown Association.
Rabobank celebrates Gilroy remodel
Rabobank associates Jennifer Lovecchio, Tammy McCormick, Vahlya Eldredge and Amber Minderler joined Deanna Franklin, vice president and branch manager of Rabobank Gilroy, Harry Wardwell, regional president of the Central Coast Region and Rabobank CEO John Ryan in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their newly remodeled location at 805 First St., Gilroy.
