Burglary suspect arrested and property recovered
Police arrested a San Martin woman Wednesday on suspicion of stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from a Morgan Hill storage facility - some of which may have been later sold at a nearby garage sale, according to authorities.

In the largest criminal gang case in county history, the Santa Clara County Grand Jury indicted 48 suspected members – 11 of them from Gilroy – of the notorious Nuestra Familia gang on 77 felony counts including drug sales, witness intimidation, homicide and bank robbery.
Settlement expected for MediLeaf co-founder charged with grand theft
A settlement is expected to be reached this month more than a year after Goyoko “Batzi” Kuburovich – a Gilroy resident and former co-director of medical marijuana dispensaries with locations in Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Jose that were shut down after law enforcement officers raided MediLeaf offices and founders' homes in December 2010 – was taken into custody March 23, 2012 on charges of embezzling $1.6 million through real estate grand fraud.
