The July 16 preliminary hearing for Neil Kitchens, a former Republican candidate for state assembly District 30 accused of five felonies related to voter fraud and forgery, has been delayed until mid-August.

The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes this week, including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and embezzlement. Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter April 22 through 28. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
