GILROY—A Gilroy man was arrested on two counts of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his elderly grandmother and aunt multiple times Monday night, according to a statement from the Gilroy Police Department.

GILROY—Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run incident in Gilroy as Salvador Briseno Gonzalez, a 57-year-old homeless man, the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office reported Wednesday.
