Joseph G. Rose passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital at the age of 92 years. A native and lifelong resident of Hollister, Joseph attended local schools, served with the U.S. Army in Central Europe and Northern France Theatre, and was employed by Ferry Morse Seed Company for 40 years. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge and Loyal Order Of Moose.

Rosary, Monday, at 7:00 P.M., with visitation from 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mass, Tuesday, at Noon at Sacred Heart Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery.

He left behind his loving wife, Katie; mother and step-father, Joyce and Jim Corder; two brothers, Chris and Terry Gila; Sister, Toni Cecil; step-son, Joshua Yates; nieces and nephews.

Game 2 is in the books for the Gilroy Little League Junior division softball All-Star team, getting by Utah 10-2 at the Western Regional on Friday night.

Kim was invited by her broker-dealer, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., to attend this event focused on helping rep-advisors build their retirement plan practice. Nearly 50 rep-advisors from across the country gathered together to share best practice ideas with their peers, gain insight from industry experts and engage with sponsors.
