Joseph John Di Conza passed away on Memorial Day, May 28th, 2012, in Provo, UT. He had just finished another successful fishing trip with his friends and family when he suffered a fatal heart attack. His family was with him at the hospital when he passed.
BASEBALL: Six Mustangs presented year-end league honors
Senior Bubu Garcia was voted the Gilroy High baseball team’s lone Tri-County Athletic League first-team representative - the third straight such distinction for the shortstop. In addition to Garcia, five other Mustangs received year-end accolades.

With a heavy heart we have lost a mother, daughter, Grammy and friend. Barbie Dunham went to rest with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 26, 2012. She is survived by her mother, Helen Dunham; daughter, Joy LaRiviere; son-in-law, Troy LaRivere; sister, Betty Ely, Suzanne Dunham; grandchildren, Nick LaRiviere, Cole LaRiviere and Braeden LaRiviere; and dog, Earl, who she treated as her child.
3.5 quake shakes Bay Area Sunday morning
A 3.5 magnitude earthquake woke up those sleeping-in Sunday morning in the Bay Area, rattling at its epicenter about 9 miles north of Morgan Hill at 10:31 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.
