Calvin W. Walker

Calvin Walker passed away Tuesday, June 8th, 2010, at his home at the age of 85 years. Calvin was a native of Kempner, TX; moved to the Almaden Area of San Jose in 1958 to begin a engineering career that spanned 30 years at FMC. Calvin received his undergraduate education from Rutgers University at New Brunswick, N.J., and his Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M College in College Station, TX. While in San Jose he belonged to the Almaden Golf & Country Club, but upon his retirement he and his spouse Eva settled at Ridgemark Golf &Country Club where he enjoyed the game of golf. Calvin took great pride in the design and construction of both his Almaden and Ridgemark residences. As a talented wood craftsman he built many of the fine pieces of furniture and cabinets in both of his homes. Calvin was a recipient of a Purple Heart for his service with the Army in the European Theater of WWII. Besides his spouse Eva, he is survived by many cousins in Texas.

Jeanne M. Petersen

Jeanne went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 83 in Hollister at Mabie Northside Convalescent with her husband and family at her bedside, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Lynn Massachusetts, she has been a Hollister resident for the past eight years.
