John Jose Suarez passed away December 21, 2009 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his children Michelle Suarez and Shane Suarez both of Gilroy; brother of Guillermo, Connie, Raul (Carol), Rudy, Tencia (Tony), Jesse (Gloria) and Robert (Adela) Suarez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Rufino and Margarita Suarez and brother Rufino, Jr.

Hazel passed away on December 17 at the age of 93 in her beloved home where she lived for 70 years. She was a long time resident of San Benito County, coming to Hollister from her home in Upland as the bride of her orchardist husband "Doug" following their marriage on New Year's Eve 1934.
