Eugenio (Gino) Bozzo passed away Monday morning at his home in Hollister. Born in Italy and had lived in Hollister for 55 years. He had worked for the City of Hollister in the public works department for 25 years. Eugenio was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening for his friends and neighbors.

Frank J. Lucchelli passed away Sunday afternoon at the age of 88 at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital. Born in Watsonville, he had lived in San Juan Bautista all his life. Frank was a former Chief of Police of San Juan Bautista for 30 years and then became Welfare fraud investigator for the San Benito County District Attorney's office . In the 1950s and 1960s Frank had been mayor of San Juan Bautista, Fire Chief and Scout master for the Boy Scouts.

Sandra Celeste Rodriguez passed away peacefully in her Hollister home with her family at her bedside on Sunday, April 26, 2009. Sandra was born and raised in Hollister. She lived in many places throughout her lifetime including Hawaii and the Los Angeles area, but she always called Hollister her home and lived here for the last few years. She worked for 30 years for Pacific Bell and retired in 2004. Sandra loved to organize parties and she was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed decorating her home and had a talent for finding bargains. She also was known for her generosity and charitable efforts towards others.
