Said A. Al-Hasan passed away at his Hollister home at the age of 79. He was born in Iraq and lived in Hollister since 2005. He worked as a civil engineer for the government in his homeland. He is survived by his wife, Siham Al-Hasan of Hollister and his son, Mohammad Al-Hasan MD of Hollister.

Jacob “Jack” Kent

Jacob (Jack) W. Kent passed from us on Wednesday December 9th at his home in Hollister, CA. Jack was born in Salinas CA. March 22, 1923, Served in the Navy during World War II, and was honorably discharged. Jack worked for 42 years at Pacific Telephone and Telegraph, and retired in 1982 as a Senior District Engineer. Jack is survived by his son John, daughter-in-law Tara, two grandsons Cody and Colton, and his granddaughter Lilian. There are no formal services planned, a reception to honor his life will be held in January, with a later announcement.
