Andrew (Andy) J. Puglisi

Andy Puglisi, 59, of Maytown, PA, formerly of Gilroy, CA, died May 22, 2009. He was the loving husband of Deborah Bartol Puglisi. He was born in Rome, Italy, a son of the late Cesare and Maria Cardinale Puglisi. Andy was employed in sales at Eric Electronics where he was both respected and valued. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Christina L. and Maria V. and Cesare O. Puglisi, all of Maytown; two sisters, Gabriella Amorine of Cummings, GA, and Simonetta Viola of Rome, Italy. As a husband, Andy was lovingly devoted to his wife for 27 years. As a father, he was actively involved in every aspect of his children's lives; encouraging them to pursue their goals and dreams with a passion and energy centered on Jesus Christ. Anyone who knew Andy knew of his passion for history and his child-like love of model trains and planes. Like any true Italian, he enjoyed good food and good company. His sense of humor always made him the life of any party. But if he could, he would tell you that his favorite love, joy, humor and his passion for leading a Christ-filled life. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, but we will rejoice in the fact that he has been made whole again and is in Heaven having the time of his life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Life Celebration Memorial Service on Sunday, July 12 at 2:30 P.M. at the Acorn Farms Receptions and Conference Center 3141 Mount Joy Road Mount Joy, PA. Interment will be in Italy at a later date. His family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. and immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Home 1520 Harrisburg Pike Lancaster, PA 17601. Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd.
