Summer’s best meteor shower
All around the world, not just astronomers but stargazers in general get excited when the Perseids meteor showers approach our skies. And the summer's best is upon us.
Linda J. Handley (Nee Monroe)
Linda passed away on May 15, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born in San Jose, a long-time resident and founder of Vanity Hair Salon in Morgan Hill, CA. Linda loved to travel, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends who loved and appreciated her caring, thoughtfullness and ever present joy. She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Ron Handley; parents, Jean and Thomas Monroe; sister, Vickie Monroe; daughter, Jennifer McGill; sons, Steve and Michael O'Hara; grandsons, John, Joshua, Mickenzy and nephew, Gabriel. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda's memory to the American Cancer Society.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Los Alamos at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in the Los Alamos Cemetery with full Military Honors.
